Hello, thank you for visiting MrTeachLE.com. My name is Kenny Devor, also known as Mr. Teach. With a lifelong passion for teaching, I made the decision to pursue my dream after years in the banking industry and the United States Postal Service. Graduating Cum Laude from National University and obtaining my Multiple Subject Teaching Credential from San Diego State University, I embarked on my journey as an educator while working full-time and raising my family. Additionally, I have been Red Cross certifying others for 8 years.

As a fully credentialed teacher since 2007, I have had the privilege of working with students at a charter school, specializing in serving at-risk students, those aspiring to graduate early, and those seeking non-traditional educational approaches.

I find great joy in witnessing the smiles on students’ faces when they grasp new concepts or acquire knowledge. Whether it’s improving their Reading, Writing, English, Math, History, or Science skills, I am dedicated to building a safe and supportive relationship with each student, addressing their unique educational needs.

With a commitment to differentiated instruction, I believe in tailoring my teaching methods to suit each student’s individual learning style. My goal is to help elementary and middle school students succeed and instill a sense of pride in their achievements.
